"Hey, it's the NFL," he said. "With business right now, I don't even know what's going on. ... You just have to play that (waiting) game. It's the Green Bay way." The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel expects Finley's camp to argue that he's a wideout if the Packers slap him with the franchise tag. The receiver tag will be worth roughly $9.5 million. The tight end tag is $5.5 million. |

Terms weren't disclosed, but Lindell turned 35 last month and missed eight games in 2011 due to injury. We can't imagine the Bills committed much. Once among the league's most accurate kickers -- despite a tough environment -- Lindell has made just 75 of his 102 field goal attempts over the past four seasons (73.5 percent). He may have to fend off Brandon Coutu in training camp. |

Fleck was Schiano's receivers coach at Rutgers in 2011. He was on "the job" at Northern Illinois for just one day, and since NIU is his alma mater, it's a good bet he wouldn't have spurned them without a significant opportunity. Only 31 years old, Fleck spent a couple of years with the Niners in the mid-2000s. |

Once considered a top NFL prospect by draftniks, Woodson plummeted to the 198th overall pick in 2008 after the Senior Bowl exposed him as a deliberate passer with a big windup and slow release. Woodson spent 2011 working with quarterbacks as a student assistant at his alma mater, Kentucky. His playing days are over. |

Daboll, who turns 37 in a couple of months, was on staff for two years in New England after the Patriots drafted Matt Cassel in 2005. Though this isn't a sexy hire for Kansas City, Cassel has enjoyed his best two NFL seasons (2008, 2010) in systems just like Daboll's. While Romeo Crennel has vowed to create competition, Chiefs GM Scott Pioli is still a huge Cassel supporter. |
